Central Perkiomen Rotary is located in Schwenksville,Pa. in Rotary District 7430 about an hour outside of Philadelphia. We are a small club with a membership of 25 people. Our club had its 75th anniversary in 2006.
Our Community Service consists of maintaining and expanding a large outdoor youth athletic area, of approximately 15 acres. We are one of the few Rotary Clubs in the USA that owns Real Estate. We have Eight Baseball Fields, a Basketball Court, a Pavilion with a Fully Equipped Kitchen and Rest Rooms that are available for Community use. We have recently purchased five additonal acres of land on Township Line Rd. that adjoins the current property. This will be used for parking and for future expansion. As you can see we are quite busy for a club of our size. During the Months of June, July and August our club meets outside at our club pavillion. Our Pavilion is located on Cemetery Rd., Just off of N. Limerick Rd outside of Schwenksville.
Our facility is the home of
the Central Perk Youth
Association . During the spring and summer months over 800 boys
and girls play organized baseball & softball. The age groups
start at five years old and go up to sixteen years old. Go to the
CPYA
web site for league schedules and additional information.

In order to support
this
effort we sponsor a annual family carnival which is held at our
facility.
At our carnival we provide space for the local Lions Club, the Women's
Civic Club ,Local Fire/Rescue Squads, Boy/Girl Scouts and other
Non-Profit
Organizations. To raise funds to support their individual groups. The
monies
we raise from the Rotary Carnival are used to pay our Mortage and fund
our field maintenance costs plus our Rotary expenses.
